Tarp coming off the field before the game, in time for 7:05 start
This was a Friday game on our partial season plan. Linda and I were in our regular seats; Ksenia and Aidan were in some other seats in the next section over, 316.
The weather had been rainy but that cleared up, but instead it became progressively cooler and windier - crazy windy, in fact. And our seats up on the concourse level make that seem worse.

Carter Kieboom's first major league game, and he hit home run but later was unable to get a hit to score any runs as the last out, with the bases loaded. Which was asking a bit much of a guy who just came up.
Because the Nats tried to come back and almost succeeded, it was a dramatic and engaging game, despite the screwy weather that required us to wear everything we had with us.
